Etgarim – Challenge
11th January, 2011 - Posted by admin - 2 Comments
I recently read an article (soon-to-be-published) about an organization in Israel that is enabling people with physical and mental disabilities to participate in sports activities, including running with the blind in Tel Aviv. I contacted the organization about volunteering to run with the blind but they have enough volunteers for that. Instead, they suggested I help with their bike riding with children program. Earlier this evening I checked it out and decided that I will volunteer for it. The name of the organization is Etgarim, Hebrew for challenge.

Etgar=challenge, etgarim = challenges :-p
I think that this list is making you live a lil, u actually get things done and can cross off your list instead of just saying ‘oh I wish I’d done this, etc’ you can say ‘yes, I did that’! You’re inspiring me to make a list of my own 🙂

1) Right. For some reason though the organization doesn't translate its name to the plural in English.
2) Exactly! Instead of my just talking or thinking about these things, I'm gonna start doing.
You should definitely make a list.
